Dragonfly Bar (2007-2013)

Dragonfly was the reason I removed myself from the architectural industry; but the absence was short... it ended up being a constantly evolving entity, keeping my architectural spirit alive.

Kitchen - Mile End (2012)

An overdue update to a tired 1970's kitchen in a Mile End maisonette. A deliberate effort to repair and recycle as much of the original joinery and floor as possible by stripping all old layers of paint, tiles and vinyl away to reveal high quality timber. Two of three joinery units were reused (the third one was too damaged) with a third old wall cabinet being sourced from elsewhere. Approximately twenty percent of the floorboards were replaced due to rot and water damage. Solid timber sliding doors were re-purposed as the rear entrance doors. The original fireplace was opened up to accommodate a new freestanding oven and concealed range hood.

Office Building - Pirie St (2007)

A fourteen storey office building developed by Urban Construct and constructed by Baulderstone Hornibrook. Individual office suites were sold prior to construction (off the plan) in a similar manner to large-scale apartment developments. My role in the project was to coordinate the drawings in accordance with consultant's designs and produce a lump sum design + construct package of architectural drawings.

House - Henley Beach (2006)

A concept design for a double storey, luxury home on a very sought-after Esplanade allotment.

Townhouses - Halifax St (2005)

Construction documentation for a group of ten 2-storey luxury townhouses.
